We founded De Kleer with the vision of creating the finest knit accessories, crafted with integrity and a strong commitment to sustainability. Based in St. Gallen, we are inspired by the beauty of Swiss nature, with its rich colors and textures.

At the heart of our knitwear lies the purity of the materials. This is what gives each piece its unique softness, ensures a beautiful feel against the skin, and determines how long your De Kleer accessory will stay with you. For this reason, we are using carefully hand-select Italian yarns made from the finest merino wool. Our production process combines refined design with precise craftsmanship, carried out entirely by state-of-the-art knitting machines. This approach allows us to produce responsibly in Germany. The result is sustainable knitwear for those who appreciate longevity, understated elegance, and thoughtful design. Each piece is designed and developed by Julia Mackenroth, who brings two decades of experience creating knitwear for leading fashion houses such as Akris and The Row, as well as in the sportswear industry.

Guided by the principles of slow fashion, the De Kleer collection will grow organically through occasional, carefully curated drops.
